John Wilkins’ Credentials

By the time John Wilkins was 17 years old, he was the number one player in the Virgin Islands and one of the top players in the Caribbean. He received a scholarship to Miami Dade Jr. College, where he was a state champion and finished in the Top 10 in the nation. He moved on to compete on the ATP Tour and held a Top 3 ranking in the Caribbean.

As Assistant Coach, joining Coach Alan Chevel at Miami Dade Jr. College, John helped the team to Top 3 in the nation before becoming its Head Coach in 1997.
